We are a 7th generation family farm that has PYO strawberries in the spring, the Aerial Adventure Park all year long and a Fall Festival in Sept and October!

    Ask the Community

    • Q:

How old do children have to be to participate in the aerial obstacle course?

      A:

You must be 7 years old and be able to reach 60 inches high with their hands. 7,8 and 9 years old will be evaluated to see if they can go by themselves. Thanks!

      Is there sunflower picking?

      A:

Amy, yes we will have sunflower picking for about the next 10 days or so.

My kids and I are huge Hellerick's Farm fans. It's a farm and amusement park all in one. We first went in the fall a couple times when they had the corn maze and pumpkin picking on top of all the regular activities.

We went on their spring opening day on Saturday, May 1st. We were pleasantly surprised that almost all the activities we enjoyed in the fall were open (minus pumpkin picking and corn mazes of course) except with no crowds. There were very few people there last Saturday and we felt really spoiled practically having all the attractions to ourselves. We had a private tractor ride by the owner with a great history lesson. It is so cool to support a local business like this that has been in the family since the 1800s. They have historic farm equipment on display which is neat.

Whenever we come to Hellerick's we end up staying way longer than we expect because there is so much to do and the kids (age 4.5 and 2.5 years) never want to leave. My husband also had a lot of fun on the new adult tricycles.

Some of our favorite attractions are the long tube slides, huge sand box, tire rolling and all the many attractions that kids can climb on. There are too many activities to list but so much to do you can easily spend a few hours here. It is a must to visit in the fall for all the Halloween fun but I also highly recommend a spring visit to enjoy most attractions without a crowd.

When visiting friends in the area we had a chance to stop by this family farm just in time for sunflower season. It's not a huge property but they had a variety of activities in addition to the sunflowers. You could also interact with the goats on site! I really enjoyed the staff who were available to answer questions and to learn more about the history of the farm and area. If you're in the area stop by and check them out!

Absolutely amazing! My friend and I planned a day trip up to Hellericks for their sunflower festival which featured one free sunflower and access to all of the other farm activities. We had close parking and was greeted and quickly assisted by friendly staff as we entered the farm. We were given a lift up to the sunflower fields where we got to roam and find the perfect flower! There were a ton of family friendly activities and photo props around the farm. Overall fantastic atmosphere and we left very happy with a beautiful flower. Would highly recommend and we will be back for the fall season!!

Price on the wall says $9.99 - was charged $11.99 (was told later that those are the "fall prices".....so maybe you shouldn't display prices that are not available - and the "summer prices" were not displayed anywhere, someone pulled out a board from behind a door and held it up for me).

Asked about a senior discount (wife and I are seniors), receptionist told me "I have no idea". Later someone who I assume was in charge just said "no, we don't have that here" (really? the entire world usually provides some kind of senior discount, but oh well). Was also told that the bargain price of $12 to get in included the hayride (wasn't running) and a bunch of other attractions that also I did not see operating. There was light rain, the ground was muddy, not too many people there, but let's charge this family of 3 almost $40 to walk around looking at sunflowers while dodging mud puddles.

We're new to Bucks County, just bought a house - looks like we won't be returning to Hellerick Family Farm nor recommending it to our family and friends that will be visiting, unless they want to pay $12 to stroll around in the mud looking at sunflowers since the other attractions were not operating. Especially since we got the "no we don't have that here" regarding offering seniors maybe 10% off.

Price on the wall where we paid clearly says "$9.99" yet we were charged $11.99.

The staff and owner is so very very kind here! My 8-year-old son was terribly scared on the ropes course, and they helped him every step of the way - with compassion and kindness - until he completed the course. Thank you!

I was so excited when my bestie told me that we were going to go strawberry picking at the local farm by her house. I've never done anything related to berry picking before. We loaded up the car with her kids and hubby and off we went!

The farm opened at 10AM last Saturday, and we were there by about 11AM or so. They have a big parking lot that's free, and we took a spot by their new obstacle course. You walk to the front booth by the goats, and you get an empty box for strawberries. We were shown the field and walked about 5 minutes or so. We were explained how the strawberry picking process worked, which was very straight forward - pick the big and small berries that are red and put into the box. We were free to eat right off the vine, which was really cool because they didn't use any pesticides! Sweet and juicy! As we moved up the lane, we were moving an orange cone, so that once we were done picking all that we wanted, the next family could continue where we left off. Very systematic.

Be sure to pick some delicious snap peas! Between the strawberries we picked and the snap peas, it was $20 in change. An absolute bargain in comparison to getting store bought produce.

Bring the kids and let them climb on bales of hay or do the obstacle course or pet a goat! Get some fresh air and enjoy the great outdoors!

Such a great day at the ropes course. The staff are super friendly and knowledgeable. The farm is beautiful and ropes course was perfect with 3 levels of fun to explore. We will definitely be heading back again!
      Thank you Kayla and Kaitlyn!

I hate giving a one star review to a farm that's been around forever.
We went to the Fall Festival and had a fantastic time - the farm is very organized and laid out in a way that is easy to navigate.
My reasoning for the low star review.
The owner is a downright nasty man. He screamed at the teenagers that work there as seasonal help. He belittled the teens, called them names and told one kid to go away so he doesn't have to look at his face again.
There is absolutely no reason to treat anyone like the way he did that day. I cannot imagine how he acts when there are not paying customers around to witness his verbal abuse.
For that reason alone we will NEVER return, which is a shame because we've been several times and always enjoyed ourselves.
